That mom who...Thanks for your transparency, Marisa. That mom who was living in your head is really just a product of Satan himself. He loves he can discourage us in our calling and distract us from the One who is sufficient. Press on, dear sister, and remember that God made YOU the mom of those beautiful little blessings in your house knowing full well exactly what kind of mom you would be. Trust Him. He knew and still knows just what He is doing. thurmanmomhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13817031160074935023noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-19841313.post-27352367519986011042013-05-02T12:32:50.477-04:002013-05-02T12:32:50.477-04:00Oops...typo. That was supposed to be "held high", not "help high"!
Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11311409052218989442noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-19841313.post-81989149249131271112013-05-02T12:31:16.397-04:002013-05-02T12:31:16.397-04:00BEAUTIFUL. But, you are right when you say it is the enemy filling you with lies.

I have finally started taking those thoughts and putting them up against scripture.

The Bible says, "There is no condemnation for those in Christ Jesus." Therefore when I am condemning myself, that is NOT truth. God gently changes us to be a better Mom, but the defeated thoughts only amplify the problem and keep us in bondage. I am learning it, too, girl! EVERY. SINGLE. DAY.

May we both, along with many other Moms, realize that we are EACH unique with strengths and weaknesses, and that is OK.

And for all those supermoms who have it together, good for them! But, I ain't one of them and my value is still help high to the Lord. PRAISE GOD for the freedom in that thought! I love you and see SUCH changes in you. God has big plans for you sister. BIG plans. I love you!
